BAD COP/LOCKER ROOM/TO THE INFINITE POWER

$5

BAD COP

Bad Cop has become a favorite among the CMJ crowd, having played the NYC festival in 2010, 2012 and 2013, sharing stages with Foxygen, Sleepies, Team Spirit and Emma Louise. In 2011, a huge following quickly ensued after Bad Cop played Crocodile’s NXNE showcase, and like all great bands do, Bad Cop turned the folks on at SXSW in 2013, opening for Local Natives and The Virgins for Frenchkiss Records’ showcase. Word quickly traveled of their raucous energy on stage so much so that Bad Cop went from underground Nashville band to an international interest, gaining a following in Argentina, India, Canada, Mexico City, and Paris. Offstage, the band works just as hard running Jeffrey Drag Records, a label whose roster includes Natural Child, Turbo Fruits and Ranch Ghost. What’s even more impressive is the label signed with Frenchkiss Label Group four months after obtaining an LLC. At the moment, the band is working on releasing their sophomore album “Hello, Mr. Sunshine.”

TURTLE RUSH

Turtle Rush was forged as an original dirty folk-grass duo consisting of Hunter Gonzales of Turtle Clan and Benjamin Rush of Lester Rush. The duo has spent years writing and honing their distinct style. Turtle Rush has had the pleasure of playing with many skilled musicians and connecting with great people. Recently, Turtle Rush has expanded into a four-piece band with the additions of percussionist, Dylan Kuchel, and bassist, Cameron Pearce. Turtle Rush has a unique sound that combines various genres and styles. Their sound ranges from deep and soulful to light-hearted and playful with driving acoustic guitar which is accompanied by psychedelic mandolin and washboard that gets everyone to havin’ a good ole time. Turtle Rush believes that all people are connected, that love is the most powerful force of all, and that music is one of the best ways to channel love.

THE FEDERALIS

True outlaws to the modern-rock era, The Federalis brought their southern-infused rock n roll sound to life in 2013. Two years later The Federalis have their second EP in the works, the road under their belts, and a refined sound.  Thanks to their lonesome felt lyrics, delta-rock leads, and bar-fight style drums listeners are guaranteed quality rock & roll.

TINNAROSE//LAITH//PANCHO CASANOVA

$7

TINNAROSE

Tinnarose has weathered a storm and produced a record of great variety and depth. They may sound like a nod to the past, but this is a band moving forward with purpose and passion.

LAITH

Laith evolved from the musical influences of all members – there is an element of punk, emo, indie, and post-rock (and even post-hardcore in the mix). The harmonies of Chenoa and Trevor are often intertwined with the screams of Alex, and polyrhythms are a norm for this band.
