FRIDAY NOV 3
DANCE MUSIC, COVERS, ORIGINALS…THIS BAND DOES IT ALL
SATURDAY NOV 4
THE FEDERALIS//MATTHEW MCNEAL//RYAN SAUDERS
True outlaws to the modern-rock era, The Federalis brought their southern-infused rock n roll sound to life in 2013. Two years later The Federalis have their second EP in the works, the road under their belts, and a refined sound.
Thanks to their lonesome felt lyrics, delta-rock leads, and bar-fight style drums listeners are guaranteed quality rock & roll.
With a unique blend of americana and electric folk music, North Texas’ own Matthew McNeal has spent years making a name for himself throughout the region. With conceptually-strong songwriting alongside a vibrant live show, the 24-year old finds himself traveling across the country playing everywhere he can, never seeming out of place. Working with Grammy award-winning McKenzie Smith (Midlake/Sarah Jaffe/St. Vincent) and Joey McClellan (Israel Nash), McNeal’s 2015 release ‘Compadre’ began to generate steady buzz throughout the world of americana music. From songs of lonesome heartache to hopeful, road-worn ballads, McNeal’s eccentric songstyle has him primed to be a songsmith with a bright future.
Ryan Sauders is a truly creative and original singer-songwriter whose voice echoes with the pain and longing of a young man who spent years of his life struggling with addiction and trying to cope with his mother’s suicide. Rehab, prison time, and deep introspection eventually led Ryan to find a healing catharsis through music. His lyrics delve into the darkest recesses of the human psyche while still reminding us of the light at the end of the tunnel.
